Verona, Italy (24 November 2020) – In anticipation of the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic and in order to safeguard our employees wellbeing as well as our clients’ interests, starting from February seQure  has taken and continues to apply and review the following actions as a precautionary measure in our offices:

Stage 1: Team Lead Mapping

In order to guarantee business continuity in all circumstances we have mapped our strategic roles and we have identified potential substitutes for each of those.

Stage 2: Risk Plan

Our mitigation plan, that allows our office-based staff to work from home, has been active since the beginning of the pandemic and has never been revoked. This has allowed us to safeguard our staff wellbeing while avoiding any possible disruption to our business – all employees are provided with dedicated equipment for homeworking and IT has strengthened the infrastructure to ensure it can sustain with no issues the increased load.

Furthermore, we monitor employees’ satisfaction related to remote-working and fine-tune our policies as we go ahead to make sure our people are not negatively impacted by this new normal.

Stage 3: Travel Schedule

Following the guidelines released by the relevant local authorities the travel plans have been revised and information has been circulated to our customers and suppliers. Where possible, face to face meetings have been substituted with web-conferences, where this was not possible a proposal to reschedule the meeting was sent to the customer/supplier.

The projects that require occasional presence of our staff at the clients’ premises are evaluated case by case. For the time being the presence at clients’ offices is substituted with teleconferences where possible.

Stage 4: Continuous Review and Assessment

With the aim of safeguarding the health of our employees, clients and suppliers and in an effort to support the local authorities in fighting the virus outbreak, our Board of Directors gathers regularly to assess the efficacy of the preventive actions we have taken, evaluate possible changes and update this plan accordingly.
